Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Financial Management Associate to provide program finance support within the MDS portfolio of contracts. As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to learn processes, systems, and monthly business rhythms by assisting CLIN leads with developing weekly and monthly financial analyses and reporting for internal and external customers. You'll also learn and utilize various financial systems to extract and analyze different types of data to identify trends and themes. This is a hybrid telework opportunity, allowing you to work part of your schedule remotely and part of your schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide program finance support within the MDS portfolio of contracts
- Assist CLIN leads with developing weekly and monthly financial analyses and reporting for internal and external customers
- Learn and utilize various financial systems to extract and analyze different types of data to identify trends and themes
- Develop and maintain financial reports, including weekly labor reports, spent and committed reports, and other ad-hoc reports as requested by leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial data and reporting
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness in financial management
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A degree in business, finance, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to extract data from multiple systems and identify trends and themes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools Suite, including Excel
- Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
We're looking for candidates with:
- Experience in financial management, accounting, or a related field
- Knowledge of financial systems, including ERP and accounting software
- Certifications in finance, accounting, or a related field (e.g. CPA, CMA)
- Experience working in a remote or hybrid telework environment

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
