About the Role: Customer Service Representative
We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in Irvine, California. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the face of our company, providing top-notch service to our customers through various communication channels. Our hybrid work solution offers the best of both worlds - you'll work from home on Monday, Wednesday, and every other Friday, and spend Tuesday, Thursday, and alternate Fridays in our centrally located office.
Key Responsibilities
- Process product complaints through queues and other communication channels in a timely and courteous manner.
- Maintain a positive experience for customers while investigating complaints and resolving issues.
- Accurately update databases with pertinent details and product information to ensure seamless issue resolution.
- Escalate issues based on severity to the appropriate levels as needed, demonstrating sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Ensure confidentiality of caller and proprietary information by following established procedures for handling complaints.
Qualifications and Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundational level of education.
- At least 6 months of customer service experience, showcasing your ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, enabling you to navigate complex customer issues and prioritize tasks effectively.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing situations and priorities.
- Flexibility to work a hybrid schedule, splitting your time between our Irvine office and remote work from home.
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following skills and experience will give you a competitive edge:
- Previous experience in a similar customer service role, particularly in a hybrid or remote work environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other customer service tools, demonstrating your technical skills.
