**Schedule and Work Environment**
As a Part-Time (34 hours/week) Data Entry Claims Intake Processor at blithequark, you will work a flexible schedule of 34 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 8am and 4:30pm CST. This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home or office. **Key Responsibilities**
As a Data Entry Claims Intake Processor at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Accurately entering data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers
* Entering data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests expediently and efficiently to meet client turnaround times
* Navigating efficiently and effectively through the imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry
* Differentiating between different claim types and following the appropriate data entry guidelines
* Accurately identifying specific document types that require special handling
* Working collaboratively with other team members to ensure that work is completed in accordance with designated turnaround times
* Supporting additional workflows as needed due to internal or external requirements
**Additional Responsibilities**
In addition to your primary responsibilities, you will also be expected to:
* Perform quality review of other team members' claims/authorizations according to established data entry guidelines
* Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing additional responsibilities as needed
* Alert management of potential issues upon identification of discrepancies
* Provide recommendations on process improvements to increase efficiencies as appropriate
**Qualifications and Requirements**
To be a successful Data Entry Claims Intake Processor at blithequark, you will need to possess the following qualifications and requirements:
* **Required Level of Education, Licenses, and/or Certificates**: High school diploma or equivalent
* **Required Level of Experience**: 6 months or more years of experience in data entry or typing-focused role
* **Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:
+ Strong data entry/typing skills
+ Excellent attention to detail
+ High degree of accuracy
+ Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
+ Strong communication and problem-solving skills
**Assessment and Selection Process**
If you are selected for further consideration, you will be required to complete an online alphanumeric data entry assessment. A minimum of 8,200 KSPH with a 98% Accuracy Rate is required for this position.
