Position Summary

As a Customer Service Representative with Blithequark's Caremark Member Operations division, you will play a critical role in assisting members with their pharmacy benefit plans. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Taking inbound calls from members and answering questions regarding prescription insurance, medication coverage, and mail-order prescriptions
  • Providing solutions to help simplify members' healthcare experiences
  • Servicing a variety of clients and call types, including Commercial, Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and specific clients
  • Receiving comprehensive training to upskill and assist with client and member inquiries as business needs arise

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to member inquiries via phone, providing accurate and timely information about their pharmacy benefit plans
  • Resolving member issues and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Utilizing computer systems and software to access member information and provide solutions
  • Documenting member interactions and maintaining accurate records
  • Collaborating with colleagues and management to ensure seamless service delivery

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Essential Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience interacting with customers in a call center, retail, customer service environment, hospitality industry, or military experience
  • Computer proficiency in Windows-based applications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to problem-solve in a positive and productive manner
  • Comfortable relating to customers in a patient, helpful way that demonstrates a genuine concern for improving the customer quality of life
  • Reliability and compliance with scheduling standards
  • Ability to exhibit patience and empathy and express assurance and confidence
  • Strong customer service skills, including courteous telephone etiquette and professionalism
  • Strong oral, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • At least 6 months of healthcare experience

Compensation and Benefits

Our pay rates start at $17.50 per hour, with a typical pay range of $17.00 - $25.65 per hour. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
