[Remote] VP Sales - National (Work Remotely from Anywhere in the U.S.)

They are seeking a VP Sales to lead a team focused on acquiring new clients and upselling to current clients, while also developing market strategies and collaborating with various internal teams.
Responsibilities
• Build relationships with clients, internal stakeholders and partners and actively develop a robust pipeline of prospects
• Partner with Sales Support staff and the Marketing team and successfully collaborate with all internal departments on all aspects of client facing activities and deal pursuits
• Work with their assigned internal Business Development Resource to create and execute an efficient and effective territory plan
• Identify opportunities with existing clients and prospects to cross-sell other complimentary solutions within the Businessolver portfolio of products
• Understand & communicate benefits outsourcing strategy including industry trends, plan design, consumer benefits, benefits administration, and SaaS platform solutions
• Provide clear and concise feedback to the product, marketing, and leadership teams about trends in the market and client needs
• Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and generate contract projections and forecasts
• Prepare accurate forecasts on a Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Basis
• Work with sales operations to ensure we are leveraging the right data and derived insights to define market opportunity
• Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals
• Identify and travel to marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events
Skills
• 10+ years of experience leading a sales organization
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience selling to large and complex entities
• We are open to experience in both the Private & Public sectors (both is ideal)
• Proven ability to persuade and influence others consistently
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Travel required
• Relationship building experience necessary
Education Requirements
• Knowledge of sales promotion techniques...this is normally acquired through a combination of the completion of a bachelor’s degree and sales experience
