Remote Accounting/Bookkeeping Consultant

Our client, world leading luxury cosmetic packaging producer, is looking to hire an Accounting/Bookkeeping Consultant to join their team in a remote capacity. This is a 1099 position. This person this person will set their own schedule as an independent contractor, ideally 2 hours/day.
Job Duties Include...
• Support Accounts Receivable including book cash receipts and ensuring accurate and timely posting of customer payments
• Manage reminders for overdue payments and follow up for cash collection
• Monitor credit limits
• Support Accounts Payable including entering bills and ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices
• Prepare payments
• Reconcile intercompany accounts and follow up on discrepancies
• Track and follow up on tooling expenses
• Prepare monthly and yearly closing entries
• Generate daily reports to provide an accurate picture of cash flow
• Prepare various reports such as pipeline reports and backlog reports
• Ad hoc duties as needed and assigned
Job Qualifications Include:
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Finance/Accounting degree
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Salary: $35 - $38/hr
