Maintain and organize extensive inventory of tools and equipment used in aircraft maintenance and repair.
Ensure all tools and equipment are properly labeled and stored in designated locations.
Keep accurate records of tool usage, including tracking when tools are being used and returned.
Conduct regular inventory checks and order replacement tools and equipment as needed.
Ensure that all tools and equipment are in good working condition and report any damaged or malfunctioning items to the appropriate team.
Adhere to strict protocols and guidelines for tool usage and storage to ensure safety and compliance.
Communicate effectively with various teams to understand their tool needs and provide timely assistance.
Collaborate with maintenance technicians to identify any missing or misplaced tools and locate them in a timely manner.
Utilize strong mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and repair tools and equipment as needed.
Follow proper safety procedures to handle and store hazardous materials and chemicals used in the tool room.
Maintain a clean and organized tool room at all times.
Keep up-to-date records of tool maintenance and repairs.
Assist in training new tool room attendants and provide support to other team members as needed.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve tool room processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.
Comply with company policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Attend training sessions and stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices related to tool room management.
