Preferred Education & Certifications (not all required): Bachelor's and/or Master's in Exercise Science, Nutrition or related field Any of the certifications below: ? NSCA - Certified Personal Trainer ? NSCA - Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist ? ACSM - Certified Personal Trainer ? ACE - Certified Personal Trainer ? ACE - Group Fitness Instructor ? NCSF - Certified Personal Trainer Other certifications: Functional Movement Systems - Level 1 or 2 StrongFirst--KB Level 1 or 2, bodyweight, barrel Precision Nutrition (PN) Level 1 or 2, USAW, Level 1 or 2 Any other functional fitness certs Experience/Skills/Requirements: 1 - 4 years experience in coaching high intensity group fitness classes with Olympic lifts, power lifts, gymnastic movements, cardio (running, jump rope, air bike, rowing, etc.), HIIT, bootcamps or CF 1 - 4 years experience in personal training (including the programming); any outside sales experience in fitness or a related industry is a plus. Solid small group communication skills to athletes of various backgrounds, ages and abilities. Ability to command a class while keeping the atmosphere fun and energetic. Engages with athletes during classes or sessions. Demonstrated skill & diligence with athlete follow up outside of class, athlete assessments, online tracking systems, point-of-sale operations/inventory, facility maintenance/cleaning. Communicates clearly with supervisor/leader, fellow coaches and client athletes. Sets a goal and then takes action to conquer it. Always learning, growing and being stretched. Desires to be a part of something larger than yourself. Works hard but also likes to have fun while getting things done. Must Understand: People. Emotional Intelligence. New technology and how to use it in your location within the guidelines. This includes but is not limited to social media, online platforms, business tools and mobile apps. Apple OS: Mail, Keynote and basic Word Processing and Spreadsheet apps (Word/Pages, Excel/Numbers) Google Calendar, Mail, Drive, Meet, Docs, Sheets Concepts in using our proprietary online portal and CRM (ClubReady) This is NOT an Ordinary Job - this is not a '9-to-5pm' kind of job. This is a 'do whatever it takes' opportunity in which you have a passion for helping your gym impact people and grow very quickly. We want go-getter leaders who are not afraid to fail. We will train you on the movement standards, programming, systems to use and the schedule to run. But, you have to execute.
