What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
• Conduct research and draft briefing papers on criminal justice issues and reforms
• Manage amicus briefs and sign-on statements addressing timely criminal justice issues
• Gather information from prosecutors and subject matter experts on best practices and justice system inequities
• Facilitate in-person and remote gatherings for prosecutive leaders to learn from each other and experts in the field
• Assist in interviews, surveys, and support for prosecutive leaders in the network
What Is Required (Qualifications)
• Bachelor's degree and JD, Master's Degree, or equivalent post-graduate degree
• Four years or more of experience in criminal justice legal or policy work
• Understanding of justice reform work and systems
• Strong writing, research, and oral communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and keep a large national project organized
• Ability to communicate effectively with elected prosecutive leaders and their staff
• Ability to work in a non-traditional environment and supervise junior staff
• Ability to work independently and manage projects
