You Must Have Experience With Python; a Strong Background In Algorithms And Data Structures; Hands-On Experience With AWS; And Experience With Database Technology (E.G. Postgres, Redis) And Data Processing Technology (E.G. EMR). You Must Also Have A Proven Track Record Of Leading A Team, Delivering Value, And Working On A Product Model Using Scrum. If Selected, You Will Be Motivated To Own Projects To Completion; From Concept To Deployment, and Demonstrate An Understanding Of The Entire Software Development Lifecycle. As A Result, You Get The Opportunity To Provide Technical Vision And Leadership To Your Teammates; Therefore, Strong Communication Skills Are Important.

Working With Nike's Artificial Intelligence And Machine Learning (AI/ML) Team (Including Teammates In Portland, Boston, China, And Poland), You'll Join A Global Organization Dedicated To Solving Machine Learning Problems At Scale. This Includes Building And Implementing Scalable Applications That Use Predictive Models And Optimization Programs To Make Data-Driven Decisions That Have Significant Business Impact. You Will Thrive In A Close Academic Environment Where We Develop And Share New Skills, Learn From Each Other, And Provide Knowledge And Software Back To The Analytics And Engineering Communities (Within Nike And In General.)

- Bachelor's Degree In Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Or Other Related Field Of Study; Or Any Combination Of Relevant Equivalent Experience, Education, And Training
- 3+ Years Of Professional Experience In Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Machine Learning, Or Related Field
- Creative Problem-Solving Skills With An Analytical Approach
- Ability To Write Stable, Maintainable, And Extensible Code In Python
- Expertise In Cloud Architecture And Technologies, Particularly Amazon Web Services
- Expertise In Technologies Such As Spark, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Hive And Terraform Is Excellent.
- Proven Skills In Agile Development And Test-Driven Development
- Understanding Of Data Structures, Data Modeling And Software Architecture
