Position description The UCLA Music Department invites applications for a part-time lecturer position in music technology for the Music Education program for the 2024 Winter quarter. Responsibilities will include teaching a new music theory course, ?Music Creation and Analysis through Technology? to music education majors. This is a second-year theory course whereby students will apply theory concepts learned to creating and analyzing music through technology. Applicants should have an established reputation as a performer and teacher with expertise in music theory, technology and pedagogy skills necessary to nurture future music educators.
