The pay range is $85,500.00 - $153,900.00

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications. The Data & Insights team

Integrates into the business as strategic analytics partners and anticipates and uncovers stated or unstated needs.

Listens and empowers team member and external stakeholder voice

Uses our analytics expertise to test, measure, analyze, understand and answer various business questions

Provide reporting to help inform on the current state of the business and help facilitate process at scale

Connects our understanding across Properties to deliver data driven products and solutions

Provide meaningful insights and recommendations

Cultivate robust collaborations with technology and data engineering teams to facilitate the implementation of optimal data management practices

About the role:

As a Sr. Data Analyst you will be responsible for supporting our efforts to help Target make better data driven decisions through analytics and insight. In this position, you'll support the 2,000+ team of Field Property Management. You will accomplish this through a wide variety of skills: data wrangling, visualization, descriptive and inferential statistics, and exploratory analysis. The team operates in a product model, you will work with a global group of analysts.

In partnership with your leader and Stakeholders, design and deliver analytical solutions to a business problem

Design KPIs, calculations and metrics that accurately reflect process and shapes behaviors

Drive consistency, scalability of analytical solutions implemented within the field organization

Partner with other analysts, other analytics organization to ensure cohesiveness across Stores reporting portfolio

Conduct analysis to inform the landscape and trade-off of business decisions

Effectively communicate and apply analysis findings to business insights

Serve as a thought leader and mentor on business domain and analytical techniques to elevate team performance

About You:

Required:

BA/BS or equivalent experience

2+ years in an Analytics related role

Proficient with various programming languages- SQL, R, Python

Proficient in Data Visualization Principles

Understanding of inferential statistics

Understanding of relational and non-relational databases

Stays current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education to continue to raise individual and team performance

Demonstrated outstanding ability to drive efforts from concept to implementation and influence across all levels of the organization

Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical acumen

Superior communication, listening, and organizational skills

This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid (known internally at Target as \"Flex for Your Day\") work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at a Target location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role may be performed either remote or onsite at a Target location depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target.
