Product Marketing Director - Security
Elastic is seeking a Product Marketing Director - Security to drive messaging and go-to-market (GTM) for Security. The role involves crafting differentiated messaging and positioning, as well as content for Elastic Security, including SIEM and Security Analytics. The ideal candidate will have direct experience with security-related use cases and expertise in crafting differentiated messaging and winning GTM strategies.
Requirements
- Direct experience with security-related use cases, and associated target audiences (analyst, architect, detection engineer)
- Expertise in crafting differentiated messaging, positioning, and winning GTM strategies
- Experience leading product marketing at a specialized business unit, collaborating with matrixed marketing, sales, and product organizations
- Courage to go deep on technical capabilities to properly understand differentiation and positioning to practitioners and CISOs alike
- Several years of experience leading outbound initiatives addressing the needs of a range of customers with complex requirements (commercial to enterprise scale)
- Relevant work experience in a technical field
- Proven track record to craft engaging content, including blog posts, presentations, videos, etc.
- Strong communication skills, with experience making pitches to audiences big and small
- Comfort working in a very cross-functional role, with a highly distributed team
