Division Manager Human Resources - Remote (w/ travel)

As the HR business partner to the Division President, you’ll guide a full-spectrum, talent-centered agenda—driving recruitment, retention, culture, and leadership development across a diverse and distributed healthcare network. Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business; Master degree and PHR/ SPHR certification preferred
- 5 - 7 years of experience in an Employee Relations or Human Resources management role; preferably in a healthcare and/or multi-site environment; strong generalist experience preferred.
- Extensive working knowledge of employment laws and regulations, employee relations best practices and union avoidance practices.
- Working knowledge and experience with accreditation and licensing organizations such as JCAHO, CARF, etc.
- Skilled in leading initiatives ranging from complex to highly complex where the impact is significant in supporting the needs of the designated group.
- Demonstrated experience in change management working with acquisitions and start-up sites.
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to analyze data, determine root causes, and devise effective solutions.
- Intellectual capability, HR operational knowledge and demonstrated ability to gain immediate credibility to influence and advise senior leadership.
- Must possess strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and listening skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and HRIS databases.
- Ability to work professionally with sensitive, proprietary data & information while maintaining confidentiality.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within inflexible time frames. Ability to adapt to frequent priority changes.
- English sufficient to provide and receive instructions/directions.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to perform essential functions listed on the job description, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to sit and stand, intermittent 8 to 10 hours a day.
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
- Must be able to speak to medium sized audience with and without the use of a microphone.
- Must be able to use standard office equipment, including the telephone and computer keyboard.
- Continuously works under pressure of near 100% accuracy while meeting inflexible deadlines.
- Continuously utilizes manual/bi-manual dexterity, near vision, speech, and hearing.
- Frequently stands, walks, sits and utilizes eye/hand coordination and color definition.
- Occasionally reaches above shoulder, regularly required to lift and/or carry up to 20 lbs.
- Occasionally walks on uneven surfaces.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% of the time, including flying and driving rental cars.
- To accommodate travel, must be able to transport own suitcases and computer estimated at 25 pounds.
