Sales Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer with deep experience in the wastewater industry to support our VP of Product and Process. This role combines technical knowledge, client-facing communication, and business acumen to help shape, present, and sell solutions that meet our clients' operational and financial needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the VP of Product and Process to support sales strategy and technical scoping.
- Engage with clients to understand requirements and develop tailored technical solutions.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals.
- Support the commercial deal process, including quoting, cost estimation, and contract development.
- Assist in the creation and analysis of financial models for project proposals.
- Provide input on system/application design, drawing from experience in application or process engineering.
- Liaise with fabrication and production teams to ensure technical feasibility and execution alignment.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and competitive technologies in the wastewater sector.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sales Engineer or Application/Process Engineer
- Experience in wastewater industry
- Strong understanding of financial modeling, cost estimation, and commercial terms in technical sales.
- Knowledge of basic fabrication techniques and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both technical and client-facing.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and commercial teams.
- Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset.
