Sr Coord, Group Sales
Job Summary
The Leading Hotels of the World is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sr. Group Sales Coordinator to provide comprehensive sales and administrative support to the North America Group Sales Team. This role plays a critical part in enabling the team to focus on revenue-generating activities by overseeing day-to-day operations, managing key communications, and maintaining accurate data in Salesforce. In this role, you’ll be a critical asset in helping the team achieve annual revenue goals while enhancing relationships with both member hotels and clients.
This is a full-time position located in New York City. We offer flexible workplace policies that allow for working remotely 3 days a week and require being in our NYC office 2 days a week (Wednesdays and Thursdays).
Essential Functions:
Sales & Administrative Support
- Provide day-to-day administrative, office, and sales support to the North America Group Sales Team to enable focus on revenue-driving activities
- Manage inboxes and communications on behalf of the Director of Group Sales and Senior Sales Manager during absences
- Handle internal and external communication as needed, including follow-up with member hotels and external clients
- Support special projects as assigned by the Managing Director and Director of Group Sales
CRM & Reporting
- Perform data entry and maintenance in Salesforce, including tracking, updating, and distributing group requests, proposals, contracts, and pickup reports
- Generate and prepare monthly internal sales reports from Salesforce; design and produce ad hoc reporting as needed
Event & Meeting Coordination
- Support the planning and execution of North America Group sales missions and events including venue sourcing, menu planning, registration management, transportation, and accommodations
- Manage and update invitation lists for sales missions, roadshows, showcases, and tradeshows
- Represent Leading Hotels at industry events as needed
Presentation & Communication Support
- Build and edit PowerPoint presentations for group buyers and internal LHW and Hotelier audiences, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines
- Collaborate with Director of Group Sales and Senior Sales Manager to produce and distribute the “Quarterly NewsFlash” presentation
Requirements, Experience & Qualifications:
- Experience in luxury, hospitality, travel or international environments preferred, particularly in high-touch or client-facing roles
- Prior coordination or administrative experience in a sales or service-oriented setting strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Self-motivated and pro-active, with the ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- Detail-oriented with sound judgement and the ability to make informed, practical decisions
- Demonstrates a high level of professionalism, executive presence, and polished communication
- Ability to represent and embody LHW’s core values in day-to-day interactions
- Skilled at building trust and establishing credibility across all levels of hotel and corporate leadership
- Comfortable communicating with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership
Compensation
Annualized Salary Range: $53,000 - $55,000
(This is a non-exempt, hourly position based on a 35-hour workweek, which equates to an hourly rate of $29.12 – $30.22).
Target Annual Incentive bonus: 10%
*Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, and location.
