Special Project Coordinator

About this Role This role will provide support for the Revenue Cycle Management Team by working on assigned special projects such as Interventional Radiology (IR) and other projects assigned. What You’ll Be Doing • Lead Special Project such as IR and any future special projects as assigned and discussed. • You will be solely responsible for the working and management of all IR claims for the organization. This may include working with other entities withing US Urology. • Answer any questions as related to IR and IR claims • Work directly with IR leadership to ensure that claims are filed within 5 days and followed up daily. • Run weekly status reports and send those to the director each Monday. • You will run monthly Revenue Cycle Month End Reports as requested • Work to transition any current duties as requested What We Expect from You • Three (3) to five (5) years of revenue cycle experience (precert, coding, charge entry, and/or accounts receivable) • Understanding of the Revenue Cycle in physician practice • Excellent interpersonal skills • Working knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule forms. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have thorough knowledge in computer information systems.
