Role Description


The Sr. Director of Enterprise Architecture is a strategic leadership role responsible for defining and driving the enterprise-wide architecture vision, ensuring alignment between business goals and technology strategy.



  • Lead the development and evolution of enterprise architecture strategy and roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business goals.

  • Drive alignment between business capabilities and IT solutions across all domains (application, data, infrastructure, and security).

  • Oversee architecture governance processes to ensure compliance, consistency, and quality across initiatives.

  • Mentor and develop a high-performing team of enterprise and solution architects.

  • Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to inform strategic planning and innovation.

  • Act as a thought leader and change agent to promote architectural best practices and digital transformation.

  • Partner closely with business and IT leaders to ensure enterprise architecture enables agility and operational efficiency.

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and sustainable technology solutions that address complex business challenges.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives and senior business leaders.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by regularly assessing and refining architectural practices, tools, and methodologies.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • MBA or Master’s degree in Technology Management or Business Administration preferred.

  • TOGAF, Zachman, or other enterprise architecture certifications are a plus.

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in enterprise architecture, technology strategy, or IT leadership roles within large, complex global organizations.

  • Deep expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks, digital transformation, and cloud-native architectures.

  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional architecture initiatives across application, data, infrastructure, and security domains.

  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate with C-level executives and senior business stakeholders.

  • 10+ years of prior management experience, including building and leading high-performing architecture teams.

  • Experience in the footwear, apparel, or consumer products industry is a plus but not required.

  • Strategic thinking with the ability to translate business goals into technology roadmaps.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Deep knowledge of modern technology stacks, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), and integration patterns.

  • Proficiency in architecture modeling tools and methodologies.

  • Ability to drive innovation and manage change in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on enterprise-scale impact.
