Our diverse laboratories perform routine and specialty analytical testing for compliance, safety, certification and verification purposes.
General Accountability:
The primary purpose of this position is to be responsible for scheduling all Field Service pick-ups and sampling events for ALS.
Responsibilities
- Specific Responsibilities:
- Reports directly to the field Service Manager.
- Schedule all Field Services pick-ups and sampling events for ALS.
- Prepare and submit bottle preps for all Field Services sampling events.
- Enter Field Data for Field Services well sampling and other sampling events.
- Help Field Couriers and Field Services Techs with COC and directions.
- Contact clients to arrange sampling events.
- Assist Field Service Manager with other tasks.
- Check DEP Drinking Water Compliance requirements for Field Services clients.
- Forward new client information, quotes, and sampling events on to Field Service Manager.
- Perform other related tasks to be determined by Field Services Supervisor, Operations Manager, and Laboratory Director.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Able to take ownership for meeting goals and objectives; willing to be accountable for own decisions, and willing to give 100%. Look for new ways to accomplish objectives.
- English verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate well with clients, staff and management.
- Multi-tasked, organized, detail oriented, and possess excellent problem solving capabilities; will have good time management capabilities.
- Must have valid PA Drivers License and be able to drive to various locations for sampling events.
- Must have clean driving record to be able to drive company truck/vehicle.
- Basic knowledgeable of getting from one location to another and read maps or other directional equipment.
- Able to work overtime as needed
Qualifications
- Required Qualifications:
- High School education
- Physical Requirements:
- Able to speak and hear clearly while communicating with co-workers, Department team members, management, and clients.
- Able to sit for 100% of an 8 hour day.
- Dexterity in hands and fingers to operate vehicle, computer and other equipment.
- Must have average vision and able to see to read reports and operate vehicle, office equipment.
