Role Overview
As a Sales Intern, youll play a vital role in growing DFXs paid membership community. Youll work closely with our sales and partnerships teams to identify, engage, and qualify new leadsfounders, investors, accelerators, and entrepreneurial communitiesusing digital outreach and community-building strategies.

Please note: This internship is commission-only. There is no hourly pay.

You will earn performance-based commissions for every successful membership sale or partnership you help bring in. The highest-performing interns will be considered for part-time or full-time paid positions with DFX.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on sales experience in a dynamic startup environment, learn modern lead generation techniques, and build valuable relationships across the venture and investment ecosystem.

What You will Do
Research and identify potential leads within the venture capital, startup, and lending spaces
Assist with outbound prospecting on LinkedIn, community forums, and online events
Draft and personalize outreach messages, email sequences, and follow-ups
Qualify inbound and outbound leads and help schedule discovery calls for senior sales team members
Maintain accurate records in CRM tools (HubSpot, Pipedrive, or similar)
Support virtual events, pitch competitions, and partnership follow-ups to drive conversions
Collaborate with marketing to craft content that attracts and nurtures high-quality leads

What Were Looking For
Passion for sales, startups, and business development
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable networking online and building relationships virtually
Self-motivated and organized with great attention to detail
Interest in investor communities, venture funds, and accelerators
Bonus: Experience with LinkedIn outreach, email marketing, or CRM tools

    Requirements
  • Availability for at least 10 to 20 hours per week (flexible schedule)
  • Current enrollment in or recent completion of a Bachelors program in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Prior internship or coursework in sales, marketing, or partnerships is a plus
