Why We Need You:
CSH is seeking a creative and motivated Marketing & Graphic Design Intern to join our Strategic Communications team for Fall 2025. This is a great opportunity for a student who is passionate about visual storytelling, nonprofits, and accessible design. You’ll help bring our mission to life through compelling visual assets that support our communications, marketing, and advocacy efforts. Projects may include assisting with the design of infographics, webpages, flyers, reports, and social media graphics.
Specific internship goals will be crafted collaboratively, based on student interests and CSH communication needs.

- Who You Are:
- An undergraduate or graduate student with interest and experience in graphic design, branding, and marketing. Preferred majors include Marketing, Graphic Design, and Visual Communication.
- The student must be enrolled in an academic program for the duration of Fall 2025.
- Proficient in graphic design platforms including Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Canva.
- Demonstrated communication and collaboration skills.
- Basic understanding of best practices in branding, layout, and visual hierarchy.
- Organized, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines.
- Comfortable working independently and in a remote or hybrid team environment.
- Familiarity and comfort with technology including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Professional or personal experience in creating social media content that engages audiences; particularly through platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Candidates should include a link to their portfolio or a sample of their design work, if available.
- Additional Preferred Skills:
- Experience with basic video editing.
- Skills in writing copy for external audiences – including social media captions, fliers, and more.
- Prior knowledge of or interest in learning basic ADA accessibility practices for design projects.
- Basic familiarity with AI prompting and appropriate uses of AI for design would be a plus.
- CSH prefers students with interest or experience in mission-based organizations or a social impact setting.

Compensation:
$22 - $26 Per Hour for the duration of the internship. The final rate will be based on prior professional experience and education level. To be eligible for this internship, the intern must be enrolled in an academic program through fall 2025.
