Hardware Technical Support Engineer
Job Responsibilities
Provide pre-sales/post-sales technical support for automotive hardware products (e.g., ECU, sensors, controllers), resolving client issues during design, testing, and mass production.
Diagnose root causes of product failures through hardware debugging (circuit analysis, signal testing, soldering repair, etc.), develop solutions, and drive issue closure.
Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams to drive design optimization and process improvements, reducing product failure rates.
Generate hardware failure analysis reports, technical case studies, and customer training materials to enhance team knowledge base.
Gather customer requirements and industry trends, providing feedback to R&D for new product development.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or above in Electronic Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Automation, or related fields.
Proficient in automotive hardware development, schematic/PCB design (Altium/Cadence), circuit debugging, and EMC standards. Familiar with automotive protocols (CAN/LIN/Ethernet) and working principles of vehicle sensors/actuators.
3+ years in automotive hardware development or technical support, experience with Tier 1 suppliers or OEMs preferred.
Strong analytical skills to independently resolve complex hardware issues.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.
Fluent English (for supporting global clients/reading technical documents).
