Per Diem Lab Assistant

Mixlab, the fast-growing veterinary compounding pharmacy, is hiring a Lab Assistant in our Weatherford, TX pharmacy. We are looking for a team player who is obsessed with details and is driven by an ability to #makeithappen for our customers and their furry (and scaly!) friends no matter what. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to work with a growing team and can support continued growth in our operations. You will be an integral part in helping us to ensure our Pharmacy operations run smoothly, and to make Mixlab a 100% dependable resource for our customers and veterinarians alike.

This is a Part-time, hourly role. Must be available Tuesday-Friday 9am-2pm and Saturday 8am-4:30pm at minimum.

Responsibilities

Assist with preparing chew treats, otics and transdermal formulations into their final dosage form.

Set up and restock lab your station with all necessary ingredients and equipment

Remove and wash used equipment

Help maintain and move lab equipment as needed

Comply with Pharmacy procedures, policies, and health and safety regulations

About You:

You have acquired your High School Diploma or GED

You thrive in a fast-paced work environment

You have the ability to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures

You have a strong sense of ownership and accountability

You are scrappy and resourceful

You have flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays

MUST LOVE PETS and their people!

Physical requirements:

Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds

Moving, lifting or carrying boxes

Ability to stand for extended periods

In addition to base pay, our total compensation package for full-time employees includes benefits and equity.
