About The Role:Laurel is in search of a Product Manager with the capability to grasp the product's vision, contribute to defining the product strategy, and subsequently transform that strategy into world-class execution.
As a product manager, you will collaborate with and guide a diverse cross-functional team consisting of engineers, data scientists, and product designers. Your primary responsibility will be to manage our most important asset - our work data. You will first ensure that the digital footprint created mirrors the user’s mental model of how work is done. Then you will lead efforts to transform the data into a new product for Laurel.
What you will do:Deliver compelling med-to-long-term product strategy from quantitative data analysis and communicate narratives that influence executive decision-making and drive user-centric business outcomes
Work deeply within data and systems, becoming intimately familiar with how our customers’ business systems function, and how we can join with our proprietary time data to deliver user and customer value
Execute on quick-hit scrappy analyses (using tools like Excel, SQL, Mixpanel, or Python) on short-term timelines to quickly drive decisions
Break down the product roadmap into scoping and product requirement documents with technical counterparts
Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise customers, understanding their evolving needs and translating them into product opportunities
Partner with the AI team to define an innovation roadmap that maintains our leadership position within the marketplace.

7+ years of experience in product management, with specific time spent on Data products and taking a product from 0 to 1
You have a strong analytical aptitude. You intuitively think about problems in terms of numbers and data models, and you can quickly execute analyses in Excel or SQL
Excellence in stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership. Drives clarity in ambiguous situations and calmness under high-pressure scenarios
You are a driver; you don’t wait, but have a bias for action; you don't wait on others to solve problems, and you proactively step into the gap to offer solutions yourself
Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to “do then document” workflows
Building for and getting adoption at complex enterprises with top-down go-to-market motions
Previous experience with data- and AI-centric products
Background in investment banking, management consulting, or BizOps.

Location: This role will be based in our office in San Francisco and hybrid at least 3 days per week.
