Role Mission
We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will act as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, helping to translate strategic goals into clear, actionable requirements. Your work will directly influence the delivery of high-impact solutions aligned with business needs.
Responsibilities
Business Analysis and Requirements Management
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
Translate high-level business objectives into structured deliverables such as Epics, Features, and User Stories.
Manage dependencies and maintain end-to-end traceability of requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and the delivery team, ensuring clarity and alignment on goals and priorities.
Define and document acceptance criteria in collaboration with business and engineering teams.
Communicate the business value of requirements to ensure development efforts remain focused and purposeful.
Contribute to backlog refinement and prioritisation, aligning work with business objectives and value drivers.
Assist in defining delivery timelines and feature roadmaps in partnership with Product Owners and team leads.
Provide regular updates on requirement status, risks, and key insights to inform project decisions.
Support Agile ceremonies and foster adherence to Agile principles within the team.
Maintain a well-groomed backlog and support iterative planning and delivery cycles.
Encourage a culture of continuous improvement through active participation in retrospectives and feedback loops.
Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis to validate requirements and measure business impact.
Present data-driven insights to stakeholders, connecting team outputs to broader business outcomes.
Translate complex business challenges into clear, actionable technical specifications.
Skills Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field; relevant certifications (CBAP, PMI-PBA, CSPO, CSM) are an advantage.
5–8 years of experience in business analysis, working across diverse industries and cross-functional teams.
Strong capability in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements.
Proficient in translating strategic business goals into Epics, Features, and detailed User Stories.
Demonstrated experience in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe), including backlog management and sprint planning.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and align across business and technical teams.
Skilled in conducting workshops, interviews, and collaborative sessions to define requirements and drive consensus.
Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, and familiarity with SQL, Excel, Power BI, or similar data analytics platforms.
Strong analytical thinking with the ability to connect data insights to business value and outcomes.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset for continuous improvement.
