Role Description
- This role involves serving as a Pioneer Seeds Field Sales Agronomist in West Central IL, focusing on providing solutions to customers and supporting a high-performing team.
- Work with growers on the farm and in their fields alongside Pioneer Sales Rep agencies.
- Contribute to a high-performing and dynamic sales team.
- Build relationships and drive sales of Pioneer® brand products.
- Develop and provide agronomic and product education and training to the field sales force.
- Maintain thorough agronomic and technical knowledge of Pioneer products and services.
- Leverage the complete Corteva portfolio to deliver a comprehensive offering.
- Collaborate with the Product Life Cycle Manager and Agronomy Manager on field trials.
- Serve as a primary agronomic resource to Territory Managers.
- Anticipate market opportunities and threats.
- Troubleshoot customer concerns and deliver mutually beneficial solutions.
- Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- At least 5-7 years of agronomy sales experience.
- Agronomy and crop production experience is preferred.
- Requirements
- Must be able to sell, negotiate, influence, resolve conflict, and coach.
- Ability to pass a driving record background check.
- VISA sponsorship and International Relocation are NOT available for this position.
