Current 25/26 School Year until the end of the school year
We are currently seeking skilled Occupational Therapists to join our team on a contract basis and provide essential therapy services to schools in NY.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' motor skills, sensory processing abilities, and overall functional capabilities
- Collaborate with school staff and Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams to create customized treatment plans and set goals for students
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in individual and group settings, focusing on areas such as fine motor skills, sensory integration, visual-motor coordination, and self-care
- Stay informed about current research, best practices, and legal/regulatory updates related to school-based occupational therapy
- Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license inNew York
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
- Previous experience as a School Occupational Therapist in a school setting (Preferred)
