What You’ll Do:
As our first Accessibility & QA Specialist, you’ll ensure our Flutter-based app is both accessible and reliable. You’ll work closely with our design and development team to:
Audit our mobile app for accessibility (WCAG 2.1, ADA, iOS/Android guidelines)
Identify and help resolve usability barriers for people using screen readers, switch access, and alternative input devices
Create and execute manual QA test cases across features and devices
Log and track bugs, edge cases, and regressions
Test key workflows (e.g., route planning, user input) and report usability or performance issues
Provide accessibility-first guidance during product development
Contribute to real-world user testing with people with disabilities
You Might Be a Fit If You:
Have 2+ years of experience in mobile or web accessibility auditing and testing
Know accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1, ADA, ARIA roles) and mobile accessibility tools
Have experience in manual QA testing, test case writing, and bug tracking (Jira, Notion, etc.)
Are familiar with tools like VoiceOver, TalkBack, Lighthouse, or Axe
Understand mobile platforms (iOS/Android), and ideally Flutter (or are willing to learn the basics)
Are passionate about inclusive design and tech for good
Bonus Points For:
Experience with Flutter app testing or automation
Familiarity with Firebase, TestFlight, or Google Play Console
Experience conducting usability testing with people with disabilities
