Annual Salary Range

    USD 40,000 – 50,000 per year (gross)Responsibilities
  • Proofread and copy‑edit articles for grammar, punctuation, style, and consistency.
  • Verify factual accuracy and adherence to editorial guidelines.
  • Collaborate with writers and senior editors to resolve queries and implement revisions.
  • Track changes and maintain version control using standard CMS or editorial tools.
  • Ensure all content meets publication deadlines and quality standards.
  • Participate in weekly editorial meetings and contribute to process improvements.
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in proofreading, editing, journalism, or related field.
  • Excellent command of English grammar, punctuation, and AP/Chicago style guides.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Familiarity with content management systems and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Effective communication skills and responsiveness to feedback.
