On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for a Credit Dispute Specialist for a contract role. This position is a remote position working East coast hours.
Credit Dispute Specialist - Job Description:
The project involves supporting a project by hiring multiple Credit Dispute Specialists to handle consumer credit disputes. These roles are essential for managing credit report-related disputes and ensuring compliance with Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) guidelines.
- Credit Dispute Specialist - Responsibilities:
- Investigate and resolve consumer credit disputes
- Utilize E-Oscar system for dispute resolution
- Adhere to FCRA standards and guidelines
- Process disputes related to incorrect account openings, late payments, and credit score inaccuracies
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to maintain compliance
- Credit Dispute Specialist - Mandatory Skills:
- Hands-on experience with credit disputes
- Strong understanding of Fair Credit Reporting (FCRA)
- Familiarity with e-OSCAR, ACDVs, and AUDs
- Experience working with credit bureaus
- Ability to operate independently with minimal ramp-up time
- Credit Dispute Specialist - Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience from other regulated financial domains, like auto or mortgage
- Prior banking experience
- Familiarity with Metro 2 guidelines
- Background in financial services
Credit Dispute Specialist - Assignment Length:
The contract is expected to last 6 months, with possible extensions.
