Overview:
Seeking a dedicated Virtual Special Education Teacher to provide personalized instruction and support to students with disabilities in a remote learning environment.
- This role involves:
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to students' needs.
- Adapt curriculum and instructional materials for virtual learning.
- Conduct virtual assessments of academic, social, and behavioral development.
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student goals.
- Provide direct virtual instruction using appropriate teaching strategies and technology.
- Monitor student progress, maintain records, and prepare reports for meetings.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field.
- Active MarylandLicensurein Special Education.
- Experience in virtual or traditional special education settings.
- Strong understanding of special education laws and IEP processes.
- Proficiency in virtual learning platforms and technology tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
