SAIC is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Logistics Analyst to join our team in Crane, IN.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working on Acquisition Category (ACAT) programs and a proven track record of participating in Independent Logistics Assessments (ILA). This role involves developing and implementing logistics strategies, conducting thorough assessments, and ensuring efficient support throughout the product lifecycle.

NOTE: This position is 100% remote with occasional travel.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Logistics Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies and plans to support ACAT programs, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Independent Logistics Assessments (ILA): Participate in and lead ILAs, providing expert analysis and recommendations to enhance program supportability and readiness.
  • Lifecycle Support: Manage and coordinate logistics support across the product lifecycle, including acquisition, sustainment, and disposal phases.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze logistics data and metrics to identify trends, optimize processes, and improve overall efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and program management, to ensure integrated logistics support.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential logistics risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure program success.
  • Compliance: Ensure all logistics activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.

Qualifications

    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in logistics management, with a strong focus on ACAT programs.
  • Proven experience participating in Independent Logistics Assessments (ILA).
  • Proficiency in logistics management software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with defense acquisition processes and DoD regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving logistics initiatives.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within established timelines.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
    PREFFERED EXPERIENCE:
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Professional Logistician (CPL), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or similar.
  • Prior military logistics experience or experience working with defense contractors.
  • Advanced Analytical Tools: Experience with advanced data analysis tools and methodologies.
