Monetization, Innovation & Digital Commerce Consultant
Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Consultant in Monetization, Innovation & Digital Commerce to serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for an intensive symposium series focused on media, entertainment, and structured fund strategies. This is a short-term, high-impact role contributing expert insight into consumer monetization models, digital commerce trends, and innovative revenue strategies, especially within IP, fandom, and content-driven ecosystems.
This is a 2-3 week project. This position is remote, and no travel is required.
The ideal candidate understands how to unlock secondary and tertiary revenue streams through merchandising, digital storefronts, fandom engagement, and evolving direct-to-consumer (DTC) strategies. You will track emerging monetization models like NFTs, metaverse experiences, live digital commerce, and fan monetization platforms to help extend revenue models beyond traditional streams, You will help us pressure-test fund strategies by bringing market insights and case study knowledge from sectors such as film, gaming, sports, music, and creator economies.

- Key Responsibilities
- Lead or participate in three 90‑minute virtual symposium sessions over ~2 weeks, providing expertise on monetization frameworks, digital commerce strategy, and innovative revenue models.
- Helps extend revenue models beyond traditional streams
- Evaluate and pressure-test fund concepts, with a focus on secondary/tertiary channels (merchandising, licensing, content-based DTC, digital collectibles).
- Offer insights on emerging digital commerce trends (e.g., TikTok Shop, Amazon, Roblox), fandom behavior, loyalty economics, and brand extension strategies.
- Develop scalable monetization narratives tied to investment theses, backed by case studies across gaming, film, music, sports, and creator economy verticals.
- Identify white-space opportunities and recommend new revenue pathways relevant to IP-centric ecosystems.
- Provide real-time strategic feedback, leveraging high-level communication and minimal prep.
- Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited university in a relevant field
- 8+ years in monetization, digital commerce, or innovation roles within media, entertainment, gaming, or consumer brand sectors.
- Demonstrated experience with fandom commerce, merchandising ecosystems, and DTC/digital storefronts.
- Strong analytical skills with a sharp link between insights and commercial opportunity.
- Experienced with e‑commerce platforms (Shopify, Amazon, Roblox) and digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEO/SEM)
- Excellent at live strategic discourse, synthesizing complex ideas with minimal preparation.
- Bonus: advisory experience with fundraising, investor materials, or capital‑raise narrative development.
- Compensation:
- This position is paid hourly as a 1099 contractor.
- This position is remote.
- Compensation for this role is based on experience and ranges from $75 - $120 per hour. which is the annual salary equivalent of $160,000 - $240,000 per year. We will pay a premium for candidates with extensive experience in finance or private equity.
- This opportunity is a contract consultative position. Flexible work schedule and ability to work some nights and weekends may be needed.
- Candidates must be available during normal business hours, with flexibility for distributed timezones.
Quire offers above-market compensation to individuals who maintain the highest standards, possess consummate professional expertise, with all compensation marked-to-market using third-party salary and contractor platforms; those who exceed average experience or efficiency can expect a material premium to market rates.
