KPMG is working through its partnership with MBO Partners and is currently seeking a remote contractor in the United States.
- Job Overview
- We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect who specializes in Marketing Technology Ecosystems, Content Management, and Integrations/APIs.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing technology systems, integrating various marketing platforms, and ensuring seamless API integration.
- This role will be pivotal in driving the strategic direction of our marketing technology infrastructure and ensuring that our solutions are scalable, robust, and future-proof.

- Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement marketing technology solutions that align with business objectives and enhance customer engagement.
- Support the integration of various marketing platforms (e.g., Workfront, DAM, CMS, MFM, email marketing, and analytics tools) to create a centralized marketing ecosystem and digital environment.
- Conduct discovery on existing solutions and develop and maintain new APIs to ensure seamless data flow between different marketing tools and systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements and architecture designs.
- Ensure that all solutions adhere to best practices in security, scalability, and performance.
- Provide technical guidance and collaboration with development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in marketing technology and recommend improvements and innovations.
- Conduct code reviews, SIT and UAT, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support as needed.
- Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on marketing technology and integrations.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing APIs and integrations using REST, SOAP, and other relevant protocols.
- Strong understanding of various marketing platforms and technologies (e.g., Workfront, Bynder, AEM, Oracle, Salesforce, Adobe Experience Cloud, including GenStudio, Sanity, Litmus, Akamai Google Analytics, Knak).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Akamai NetStorage, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of development and integration

- Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of modern programming languages such as JSON, JavaScript, Python, or Java.
- Understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance (GDPR, CCPA).
- Certifications in relevant technologies or platforms
Note: Contractor location is ideally East Coast or Central (Dallas based is preferred but ability to travel on-site to Dallas ~monthly). Travels expenses will be covered.
