Online ESL Instructor
- Key Responsibilities
- Tailor lesson plans to meet the needs of students across various age groups and cultural backgrounds.
- Design and implement interactive activities that encourage language acquisition and skill-building.
- Evaluate students' language proficiency and provide targeted, constructive feedback.
- Employ diverse instructional strategies to support different learning preferences.
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment.
- Conduct dynamic online lessons in 25-, 15-, or 7-minute formats.
- Utilize digital platforms and tools to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism, dependability, and timeliness.
- Required Experience
- Broad experience in teaching English as a Second Language (ESL).
- In-depth knowledge of effective ESL instructional methods and best practices.
- Proficient in using online teaching platforms and digital education tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dedicated to fostering a dynamic, student-focused learning environment.
- Competent in managing both classrooms and individual student needs.
- Demonstrated success in leading lessons and supporting student progress.
- Experienced in teaching beginner-level ESL learners with adaptable, student-responsive approaches.
- Minimum QualificationsApplications not meeting the following criteria will not be considered.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (Required).
- Must be a citizen of the U.S., Canada, or the U.K. (Applicants from other countries will not be accepted.)
- Stable landline or Ethernet internet connection (Wi-Fi only is not allowed).
- English must be your first language.
- High-quality headset with a working microphone (No earbuds permitted).
- Valid government-issued ID (Passport or Driver’s License).
- Professional home workspace setup with a clean, appropriate background.
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
- Prior teaching experience (homeschooling, tutoring, coaching, or mentoring) is preferred but not required.
- ESL teaching certification or credentials are a plus but not mandatory.
- Work Schedule
- Evening Shift: 18:00 – 24:00 KST (05:00 – 11:00 AM EST)
- Must be available for at least four consecutive hours, five days a week (Monday to Friday). This schedule is non-negotiable.
