Chief Product and Experience Officer
Senior-level leader of end-to-end product vision, strategy, and customer experience. This executive will serve as a key member of the Leadership team, responsible for shaping the future of the product portfolio and delivering a seamless, differentiated experience for healthcare providers, patients, and partners across the genetic testing lifecycle.
The CPXO will play a pivotal role in driving product innovation, market growth, and digital transformation to enable scalable impact in a high-growth, science-driven environment.
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, MS, or equivalent) preferred.
· 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in product, innovation, and/or experience design roles, preferably within diagnostics or life sciences.
· Proven track record of launching and scaling innovative B2B and/or B2C products in highly regulated markets.
· Experience leading digital transformation and implementing modern digital experiences across web and mobile platforms.
· Demonstrated ability to influence at the executive and board level, with strong commercial acumen.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy and Innovation
· Define and execute a comprehensive product vision and roadmap aligned with company growth, scientific innovation, and customer needs.
· Oversee new product development, product lifecycle management, and go-to-market execution across clinical, consumer, and digital offerings.
· Partner with R&D, Clinical, Commercial, and Business Development teams to assess emerging technologies and identify opportunities for differentiation and expansion.
· Own and evolve the end-to-end product strategy aligned with our growth trajectory.
Customer Experience Leadership
· Architect a seamless, integrated end-to-end user experience—from ordering to results delivery—across digital, operational, and human touchpoints.
· Embed a customer-focused mindset across the organization by leading with data, empathy, and continuous feedback loops.
· Drive improvements in Net Promoter Score (NPS), digital engagement, and retention across segments.
· Leverage data, automation, and new technologies to modernize service delivery operations.
Cross-Functional Execution and Leadership
· Lead and scale a high-performing Product and Experience organization, including Product Management, User Experience/Design, and Digital Experience teams.
· Align stakeholders across Commercial, Technology, Operations, and Clinical functions to deliver cohesive solutions.
· Serve as executive sponsor for digital platform enhancements and patient/provider-facing innovation.
Growth and Market Differentiation
· Partner closely with the CEO, CCO, and CFO to define product pricing, profitability, and positioning strategy to support growth targets and investor expectations.
· Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment to guide strategic investment and innovation priorities.
· Represent the company as a thought leader at key industry events and with strategic partners.
