Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a compassionate and qualified School Social Worker to join a supportive elementary school team in Glendale Heights, Illinois. This full-time, 12-week assignment is ideal for professionals who are passionate about student advocacy and committed to helping children navigate social, emotional, and academic challenges in a school setting.

- Schedule: Full-Time | Standard School Hours
- Duration: 12-week assignment (with potential for extension)
- Grade Level: Elementary school students
- Responsibilities:
- Provide direct social-emotional support to students through group and individual counseling
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention strategies
- Conduct assessments and contribute to IEP and 504 plan development
- Serve as a liaison between the school, families, and outside community agencies
- Support students’ mental health, behavior, and attendance needs
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Required Credentials:
- Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution
- Active Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker Endorsement in the state of Illinois
- Previous experience in an elementary school setting preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Must pass background check and any district-required screenings
