About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced QA Program Manager to lead our QA teams in a comprehensive digital transformation program. This role is pivotal in ensuring the planning and successful execution of QA activities across various systems including S/4 HANA, CRM, PLM, MES, and others. The QA Program Manager will also be responsible for the governance of vendor deliverables, providing leadership on QA tools and processes, and guiding architects and QA consultants.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and Execution: Develop and implement QA strategies and plans to ensure the successful execution of QA activities within the digital transformation program.
- Vendor Governance: Oversee and govern vendor deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and project requirements.
- Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of architects and QA consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Champion QA Tools and Processes: Act as the champion for established QA tools and processes, including Azure DevOps (ADO), LoadRunner, SonarQube, and BlackDuck.
- Project Management: Manage QA activities for large transformation projects involving S/4 HANA, CRM, PLM, MES systems, and other related technologies.
- Functional and Technical Testing: Oversee functional and technical unit testing to ensure individual components meet quality standards.
- System and Integration Testing: Manage system and integration testing to ensure different components work together seamlessly.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Coordinate UAT to validate that the system meets business requirements and is ready for deployment. Establish traceability metrics
- Non-Functional Testing: Oversee non-functional testing, including performance and security testing, to ensure the system's robustness and security.
- QA Metrics and Reporting: Provide leadership in defining QA Framework, metrics and reporting, ensuring that key performance indicators are tracked, analyzed, and reported to stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including IT, marketing, and customer service, to ensure alignment and integration of QA activities.
- Conflict resolution: Robust conflict resolution skills through collaboration with stakeholders, external parties
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance QA practices and methodologies.
- Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven 15+ experience in leading QA teams for large transformation projects involving ERP, CRM, PLM, MES systems, and other related technologies. Creative thinking for upcoming challenges is key
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team of professionals.
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of QA tools, processes, and methodologies, with specific experience in Azure DevOps (ADO), LoadRunner, SonarQube, and BlackDuck.
- Project Management: Excellent project management skills with a track record of successful QA project delivery.
- Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and vendors.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
