NVIDIA's networking performance team is developing tools for benchmarking and profiling NVIDIA's ground breaking networking technologies. Our products are used by engineers within NVIDIA, as well as released to external customers, serving engineers across the industry in optimizing networking performance quickly and accurately. Our team's mission is centered on the three pillars of networking performance engineering: Benchmarking, Telemetry Capture, and Performance Analysis.As a senior software developer, your initial responsibility will be the technical ownership of our core engine for high-frequency Telemetry Capture. You will also apply your expertise across the other pillars by contributing to a suite of closed and open-source solutions for Benchmarking and result Analysis. Furthermore, you will be a key contributor to our next-generation product, leveraging agentic AI to streamline the work of performance engineering by orchestrating our diverse tools and data sources.What You'll Be Doing:Take full technical ownership of our core telemetry engine, driving its roadmap to completion with a focus on production-grade stability, performance, and long-term maintainabilityAct as a key technical contributor and drive innovation across the team's portfolio of projects, from our core benchmarking, telemetry and analysis tools, to our next-gen agentic AI assistantEnhance our development operations (DevOps), owning the CI/CD pipelines and release processes for your projectsMentor fellow engineers through collaborative design discussions and constructive code reviewsWhat We Need to See:B.Sc. in Computer Science, or a related engineering fieldA minimum of 5+ years of professional experience defined by technical ownership and a track record of making significant, individual code contributions to production softwareExpert-level software development skills, with deep, hands-on experience writing performance-critical, low-level code (CC++, etc.), coupled with strong proficiency in PythonA proven track record of making key architectural decisions, driving a technical agenda, and problem solvingExperience with modern CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesWays To Stand Out From The Crowd:Deep Linux systems knowledge,…
