Senior Business Development Executive
We are seeking a Senior Business Development Executive to join our rapidly growing consulting team and support our ongoing growth, drive new business results by producing a well-managed, profitable, and growing book of business opportunities and strategic clients relationships.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience selling custom software engineering solutions to US based Fortune 500 companies
- Technical background and excellent understanding of software engineering practices and technologies underpinning the Software Development Lifecycle and development of modern and emerging products and services.
- A deep network or existing book of business connections in the U.S. technology market.
- Proven success driving business development for consulting, professional services, or technical staffing.
- Experience managing technical accounts, achieving growth targets, and executing clear business strategies.
- Expertise in opening new accounts and negotiating MSA terms in software-focused verticals.
- Ability to understand and translate client’s technical requirements into clear objectives for the delivery team.
- Strong relationship-building skills with senior and C-suite executives in complex, multi-functional organizations.
- Opening & penetrating net new logo accounts & negotiating MSA terms in software centric verticals.
- Developing a thorough and detailed understanding of client’s strategic software development, engineering, and product objectives.
- Ability to distill down into specific software engineering technical needs and requirements and communicate clearly to Janea Systems Global Engineering Delivery team.
- Ability to navigate and excel in building strong relationships from Senior-level to C-suite when working in, complex, multi-org, cross-functional (Engineering, Product, Finance, Procurement) client organizations.
- Ideal candidates will also have: Strong entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities and drive them to fruition independently.
- A “ready to engage” network of potential Clients
- Experience working in or with technology-driven companies, with a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and market trends in software development and consulting.
- Proven track record in creating long-term client partnerships and delivering consultative sales solutions that address client needs.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, both internally and externally, to align client needs with business objectives.
