Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst to support the analysis, integration, and optimization of our client's back-office systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements.
Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights.
Conduct system integration analysis and develop comprehensive source-to-target data mappings.
Understand and document data lineage, transformations, and flows across systems.
Write advanced SQL queries for data validation, analysis, and troubleshooting.
Interpret and work with data models, ERDs, and UML diagrams.
Design logical and physical data models when necessary.
Define and support ETL processes using tools such as Informatica, Talend, Apache NiFi, SSIS, or DataStage.
Work on API integration design and documentation (REST/SOAP), including payload structures and integration flows.
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, system diagrams, and data flow specifications.
Understand enterprise system architecture, including front-end, back-end, middleware, microservices, and integration layers.
Provide support for testing activities, including writing SQL-based test scripts.
Optionally contribute to test automation efforts using available tools or frameworks.
Engage with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) for data processing and storage (nice to have).
Effectively communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders and facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst or in a similar role involving data-heavy systems and integrations.
Strong SQL and database knowledge (relational and non-relational).
Familiarity with ETL tools and data integration concepts.
Solid understanding of system architecture and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Experience with API integration and technical specification development.
Nice to Have:
Exposure to cloud-native services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Familiarity with test automation tools or frameworks.
