Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented IT Project Manager with 3-5 years of experience. This role bridges technical execution and business strategy, ensuring initiatives are delivered efficiently and aligned with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in IT project management, a familiarity with technical systems, and the ability to coordinate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Work in a highly collaborative team environment with an open communication culture
· Manage a variety of IT projects, including system implementations, integrations, infrastructure upgrades, and business process improvements.
· Collaborate with developers, engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to define project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
· Coordinate with vendors and third-party providers to ensure timely delivery of project components.
· Facilitate key project events, meetings, and communications.
· Create and maintain project documentation, schedules, and status reports.
· Track project progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
· Support Agile or hybrid project methodologies, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
· Communicate project updates and roadblocks to stakeholders and leadership.
· Ensure projects align with IT standards, governance, and security policies.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and 2+ years of experience, or 3-5 years experience managing IT projects.
· Certification in PMP, CSM, or equivalent is a plus but not required.
· Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, Excel, MS Project/Planner)
· Experience with Agile or hybrid project management methodologies.
· Competency with project reporting tools
· Preferred familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
· Familiarity with data concepts such as ETL, data warehousing, and SQL.
· Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
· Detail-oriented with ability to successfully translate business needs into technical requirements
· Ability to work as part of a team.
· Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Travel:
· Will have to travel a few times a year for onsite team events and training, up to one business week per trip (less than 10%)
