Regional Organizer, Texas
We are seeking a Regional Organizer to support and help build a field program to stop the build-out of the petrochemical industry and support grassroots advocates fighting petrochemicals. The ideal candidate will be a community organizer and advocate who excels in bringing people together around a common cause.
Requirements
- One to three years of professional experience organizing in community advocacy, campaigns, or non-profit program work.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, cross-cultural awareness and the ability to work collaboratively with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- Demonstrated ability to move people to action and build a mutual sense of trust.
Benefits
- Salary of $65,000 - 70,000, commensurate with experience.
- Alternate Fridays off work schedule (employees work 40 hours one week, 32 hours the next week).
