Principal Specialist, Authorizations
As an Authorization Specialist, you will be working with Authorization Management, obtaining and managing regulatory and Collins internal authorizations. You will draft and submit export and import authorizations to Department of Commerce and Department of State, and work closely with the business and other Global Trade employees to ensure authorizations are accurate and obtained timely.
Requirements
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status)
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
- Working knowledge of the various export authorization types/uses under each set of regulations
- Prior experience working with U.S. government licensing authorities
- Program/product knowledge and general knowledge of technology transfer requirements and restrictions
