Operations Research Engineer (Remote - UK)
We are seeking a curious and analytical Operations Research Engineer to help design and implement optimization and simulation models that drive smarter business decisions.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of optimization (linear, integer, nonlinear), simulation, graph theory, and statistical analysis.
- Solid programming skills in Python, Java, or C++ with practical experience in applying OR libraries (e.g., OR-Tools, Gurobi, CPLEX).
- Excellent analytical thinking and structured problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within multicultural, cross-functional teams.
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience applying OR techniques in industry or academic settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Streamlit) and basic knowledge of machine learning are a plus.
