Salary: From £99k per annum

Location: Remote with some travel to our offices in Northampton and London

Type: Full Time / 9,00am-5.30pm / Monday to Friday

Purpose of the Role

We’re looking for a bold, strategic leader to supercharge growth across our mid-size, growth, and key accounts—aiming to 4x the business in 5 years.

As VP of Growth & Key Accounts, you’ll lead a high-performing team to transform small clients into scalable partnerships, drive market expansion, and shape the future of work-life solutions. You’ll work closely with Sales Intelligence, Market Insights, and Product teams to turn data into action and strategy into results.

Reporting to the Executive Director, you’ll own growth strategy, go-to-market execution, and client success across the mid-market—making Bright Horizons the go-to partner in the space.

Strategic Growth Leadership

  • Spearhead division-wide strategy to 4x business growth across mid-market and key accounts

  • Build scalable frameworks to elevate small clients into high-value partnerships

  • Set bold revenue, margin, and performance targets to drive sustainable expansion

  • Team & Talent Leadership

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing team of Client Managers and Relationship Executives

  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent to fuel growth

  • Embed a culture of innovation, accountability, and client obsession

  • Key Account Transformation

  • Design strategies to turn smallest accounts into scalable, profitable clients

  • Implement smart segmentation, resource allocation, and growth pathways

  • Track progression with clear KPIs from onboarding to expansion

  • Client Growth & Expansion

  • Drive revenue through cross-sell, upsell, and service expansion

  • Build structured plans to maximise client lifetime value across all tiers

  • Create seamless account progression from key to growth to strategic

  • Data-Driven Strategy

  • Partner with Enablement to build real-time dashboards and performance insights

  • Use analytics to spot trends, optimise profitability, and guide decisions

  • Leverage predictive data to inform strategy and resource planning

  • Market Intelligence & Planning

  • Collaborate with Intelligence teams to uncover mid-market opportunities

  • Feed insights into broader strategy and service optimisation

  • Lead planning to sharpen competitive edge and client relevance

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work across Marketing, Product, Tech, and Full Service teams globally

  • Influence org-wide strategy and resource allocation to support growth goals

  • Lead initiatives that enhance client experience and operational efficiency

Strategic Reporting & Executive Comms

  • Report to Executive Director on performance, growth, and strategic initiatives

  • Shape Go-to-Market, budgeting, and target-setting strategies

  • Lead planning sessions and maintain Salesforce as the single source of truth

Senior Executive | Growth Strategist | Client Success Leader

  • Leadership & Growth
    Experience driving revenue and leading high-performing teams. Scaled operations, led transformations, and consistently exceeded growth targets in B2B mid-market and enterprise spaces.

  • Strategic Account Management
    Built and led client success teams across tech and professional services. Expert in mid-market expansion, strategic planning, and competitive positioning.

  • Key Account Growth
    Turned small accounts into scalable, profitable partnerships. Skilled in account progression, resource optimization, and margin improvement.

  • Market Expertise
    Deep knowledge of mid-market dynamics and client needs. Strong background in HR benefits, employee wellbeing, and multi-stakeholder engagement.

  • Data-Driven Leadership
    Fluent in Salesforce and BI tools. Translate data into strategy, forecast revenue, and optimize performance across portfolios.

  • Cross-Functional Impact
    Collaborative leader across Product, Marketing, Ops, and Tech. Proven change agent in global, matrixed environments.

Education & Experience

  • Extensive experience of progressive leadership in business development, account management, and client relationship management.

  • 8+ years in senior executive roles, successfully leading large, cross-functional teams and driving substantial revenue growth across diverse B2B account portfolios.

  • Consistent track record of exceeding ambitious growth targets in mid-market and enterprise-level environments.

  • Proven expertise in leading organizational transformation initiatives and scaling business operations to support rapid growth and market expansion.
