Vice President, Finance Technology

MongoDB’s Vice President of Finance Technology is a trusted business partner responsible for technical delivery to support the Finance Organization, drive operational excellence, innovate, and deliver business results. The role requires a deep knowledge of financial operations processes as well as finance technology and architecture. The successful candidate will lead a global team of approximately 18 resources and be responsible for developing and executing a finance technology strategy and associated roadmap.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in an IT business systems, business operations, product management, or a consulting role responsible for driving finance service delivery
  • 8 years or more of people management, including at least 5 years on the second line of management
  • Extensive knowledge of best-in-breed ERP applications, including but not limited to Oracle, SAP, and the NetSuite ecosystem
  • Extensive knowledge of core finance processes, including Quote to Cash, Record to Report, Procure to Pay
  • Proven experience as part of an ERP replatforming program, preferably migrating from NetSuite
  • Deep understanding of the Agile software development methodology and best practices
  • Ability to ‘think big’ with a strategic mindset to develop the medium-long term roadmap and strategy
  • Able to communicate effectively with both C-suite, business stakeholders, and engineering teams
  • Proven track record of building effective relationships with Executives and senior leadership
  • Experience integrating data across a plethora of system platforms, ability to define systems ownership, and ability to advise on best practices for master data management
  • Track record of sustained successful partnership with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills
