What you’ll do
The Director of Operations is responsible for leading and coordinating operational initiatives across the organization. This role requires deep knowledge of claims, benefit configuration, provider operations, and health plan/TPA policies and procedures. The Director will serve as a key liaison with internal teams and external partners, ensuring operational excellence and client satisfaction.
In this role, you’ll also:
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight for operational initiatives and cross-functional projects.
- Serve as the primary Operations lead for initiatives with strategic vendors and other key projects.
- Act as the single point of contact for Centurion and key vendors on Operations issues, including participation in weekly meetings.
- Collaborate with vendors such as Zelis and Echo to manage member and provider EOBs and EOPs.
- Support the development and implementation of an internal claims auditing function within the JV.
- Track, follow up, and resolve Operations issues impacting clients and members; participate in broker and client calls as needed.
- Lead the Operations component of the UMR conversion to JV.
- Ensure operational processes align with company goals and client expectations.
- Represent Operations on cross-departmental project teams to support enterprise-wide objectives.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in operations management within the healthcare or TPA industry. Proven experience managing people and leading cross-functional teams.
- In-depth knowledge of claims processing, benefit configuration, and provider operations.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Experienced in presenting complex information clearly to internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Skilled in fostering teamwork and mentoring staff.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
