Position Description:

As Vice President of Product, you will lead the product vision, strategy, and execution for PAR Retail. You’ll ensure that every aspect of our product — from UX to functionality to system architecture — embodies simplicity, elegance, and effectiveness. This role will drive strategic investment decisions, product build vs. buy strategies, and platform partnerships.

You will oversee a product portfolio encompassing loyalty, retailer engagement, mobile payment, mobile engagement, in-store kiosk, front-office, Retail Media, and Data Monetization initiatives. You will build and lead a high-performing team of product managers, set a high bar for product quality, and deliver best-in-class, customer-centric solutions that fuel PAR Retail’s continued growth as a universal category leader.

You’ll partner closely with Engineering, Delivery, and Executive Leadership to create transformational outcomes for our customers and the broader market. This is a hands-on leadership role with a mandate to combine strategic vision with operational excellence.

Reports To:

General Manager, PAR Retail

What We’re Looking For:

•15+ years of product management leadership experience within SaaS, retail tech, or enterprise software environments

•Proven success developing category-defining products loved by users

•Deep understanding of retail industry dynamics and customer pain points

•Strong technical fluency to engage in architecture and engineering discussions

•Relentless focus on building intuitive, high-utility experiences

•High standards for product taste, quality, and user experience

•Strategic thinker who can zoom into execution when necessary

•Demonstrated success scaling and mentoring product management teams

•Experience leading 0 to 1 product initiatives and building multi-product platforms

Additional Skills:

•Experience incorporating AI and emerging technologies into product roadmaps

•Track record of delivering measurable business outcomes through product innovation

•Ability to navigate complex cross-functional environments and drive alignment

•Expertise in customer discovery, market analysis, and product-market fit strategies

•Measure product performance rigorously and iterate based on customer feedback and market trends

•Engage regularly with customers and users to stay deeply connected to market needs and opportunities
