We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Administrative Coordinator to join our team in a remote capacity, based in MN or WI. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinical administrative functions, providing exceptional support to our patients, and contributing to the advancement of health equity on a global scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and ensure accuracy of electronic chart documentation, including patient information, location, and duplicate records
- Process release of information (ROI) requests and manage documentation and information requests
- Scan and edit documents in the electronic medical record, maintaining confidentiality and adherence to regulatory requirements
- Locate, log, retrieve, file, and deliver medical records stored in various mediums and systems, promoting principles of health information accuracy and transparency
- Analyze documentation and track completion to meet regulatory requirements, working collaboratively with the team to achieve goals
- Utilize Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, to create, edit, and manage documents and spreadsheets
- Provide exceptional customer service, communicating effectively with patients, staff, and external stakeholders

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of customer service experience within a hospital or healthcare environment
- Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to travel to our office location in Minneapolis, MN for training and occasional meetings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of customer service experience in a healthcare setting
- Experience working with electronic medical records and health information systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology and federal and state programs that impact healthcare coverage
- RHIT or RHIA certification, or willingness to obtain
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, or other languages
Telecommuting Requirements:
- Reside within commutable distance from our office location in Minneapolis, MN
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of company-sensitive documents
